As Above, So Below

"As Above, So Below" explores the dialogue between opposing forces—movement and stillness, the inner and the outer, the seen and the unseen. Built through interwoven geometry and a continuously folding central vortex, the composition invites the eye inward while expanding outward at the same time, suggesting that every pattern echoes another.
Although this work stands on its own, it also became a foundation for later pieces. The relationships between its rotating forms, layered symmetry, and central spiral informed the evolution of both O Star and the 8-Point Star, making this drawing an important milestone in the development of the artist's visual language.
Rather than depicting a destination, As Above, So Below represents a state of perpetual transformation—where balance is found not in stillness, but in continuous motion.
